The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ seems to be going crazy as it constantly on and off it'self leading to battery drainage.

The handsets' display turns itself back on whenever it is turned off (either by pressing the power button or by letting the display get timed out). The display will stay on for about ten seconds before shutting down once again.

Since this crazy dance continue throughout the whole day, it leads to the battery being completely drained.

The issue

A number of users tooks to the Samsung community and Reddit to complain about this issue.

Another owner of the Samsung Galaxy S8 whose device has been afflicted with this strange bug posted a video on YouTube showing the phone turning itself off and on again.

It was noted that not all models of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are affected by this problem. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is not also a carrier of this bug.

Last week, week, a new battery problem was discovered on some Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 units. This made certain models of the phone not to turn back on after the battery was drained down to 0%.

Samsung has since being silent about these issues.
