The NYSC codes for the 36 states in Nigeria

NYSC have some uniqe codes used in identification of states. These codes are simple to remember and identify.

What is NYSC? There’s a unique way to serve one's country. With the National Youth Service Corps, all university graduates are required to serve their home country for one year in any part of the country.

The main goal of the National Youth Service Corps is to involve young and energetic people in the development of the country.This NYSC has camps in many locations and special codes for states.

Below is a complete list of the National Youth Service Corps state codes with the addresses of orientation camps in all the states of Nigeria.

• Abia state – AB. Permanent camp in the local government area of Bende, Umunna
• Adamawa state – AD. The Adamawa State Polytechnic in Yola North, Jimeta
• Akwa Ibom state – AK. Permanent camp in the local government area of Nsit Atai, Ikot Itie Udung
• Anambra state – AN. Permanent camp in the local government area of Oyi, Umunya
• Bauchi state – BA. Permanent camp in the Ganjuwa local government council, KM 60 Wailo
• Bayelsa state – BY. Kolokoma-Opokuma local government area, Kaiama Grammar School



• Benue state – BN. Permanent camp in the Tarka local government area, Wannune, Makurdi Gboko Rd
