TSTV promised Nigerians many benefits that aren't fulfilled up till now. These are benefits that that are normally not seen on other popular cable televisions.  

The 'Sassy decoder' - the only one giving signal out of the two they promised is being sold by many of their dealers nationwide but certainly not at their fixed price.

Updates on TSTV Sassy decoder

On April 1st, TSTV launched the commercial sales of their decoders. The demands per supply was very low as it is also up till now.

₹ TStv Sassy decoder is the company’s debut decoder and just like every other decoder, there is nothing too much. Functions like the data package they promised has not been integrated into this decoder yet.
₹ TStv sassy decoder comes with TSTV Sassy accessories (90cm dish, LNB and 20m cable)
₹ There is lack of this decoder even from the day it was launched.
₹ Many so called TStv super dealers don’t even have the device in stock. Visit their website to find the full list of approved dealers. The easiest or probably the best way to buy their decoder is through the black market.
₹ Never expect to get it for the N3,500 they trumpeted on the black market.Note also that the installation fees cost around N2,500.
₹ TStv Sassy decoder is one of the decoder models they claimed to offer. the other one is named “the dexterity decoder” which will be out soon(no specific date). TStv dexterity decoder would cost around N5,000.  
₹ TStv Sassy decoder doesn’t have live EPL, LaLiga and UEFA matches. However, they promise to broadcast EPL next season.
₹ TStv is billed to broadcast the world cup in June 2018
₹ TStv Sassy decoder offers a pay-as-you-go subscription plan which gives a subscriber the opportunity to choose and pay for only their channels of interest.
₹ The 55 TV channels currently showing on TSTV will remain free until May 15th, 2018 . According to them, after this day, the channels will be locked.
₹ According to TStv, Dexterity sales will start soon after the conclusion of the ongoing nationwide tests and full integration of their data hubs.
₹ Features of pausing subscription, PVR, and integration of payment portal into quickteller are all working fine.

TStv Sassy decoder problems and possible solutions

TStv signal dropping at night: This is said to be from TStv and it should be sorted out in due time. However, the following can be done:

- Change your LNB to a stronger one.
- Re-track your dish and make sure your signal strength is 70% or above.If there's any difficulty, change the location of your dish.
- Use a bigger dish. If you are currently using a 90cm dish. please switch to a 1meter dish.

Some channels missing from TStv decoder?

If channels are going missing suddenly, or they are showing bad signal, please blind-scan your TStv decoder and you will get them back.  

How can I Blindscan for channels on TStv sassy decoder?

- Press menu
- Go to satellite search and press ok
- Then press OK on abs3.
- Next, press the blue button
- Scroll down .[Don’t change anything from the setting.]
- Once you select search then press OK twice.
- Finally, Wait till it searches completely!
