How to hide your last name on LinkedIn by Mattizzy(m) : 6:49 pm On May 04

I don't know why you may want to hide your last name on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a platform for forming and managing professional connections, there are some people who would not like to share some certain information with those connected to them.

So today, I'm going to teach you how to Hide your last name on LinkedIn. let's get on with the tutorial

Step 1: Log in to your LinkedIn account and press on the Profile icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and select Settings & Privacy.

Step 3: At the top of the Settings page, select Privacy.

Step 4: Scroll down and you will see an option indicating ‘Who can see my last name.’

Step 5: Click on ‘Change’ written right next to it. Alternatively, you can also click on the option itself to change the settings.

Step 6: This will show you two options. Among these, one will be your complete name and the other will show the first letter of your last name or abbreviated name.

Step 7: Select the abbreviated name and it will be saved automatically.

On this particular page in your privacy settings on LinkedIn, you will see that you can make other changes too including managing who can see your email address or your connections on the platform, your profile visibility, syncing contacts and calendar, blocking and unfollowing users you may not want to connect with, and various options of managing how others see your LinkedIn activity.
