Airtel Nigeria is one of the four main telecom networks in Nigeria.  They are widely loved Nigerians for their  cheap calls plans and average data plans.

It is always proper to take the bull by the horn, Nigerian telecom companies of which Airtel Nigeria is part are guilty of witty and unnecessary deduction of airtime credit. They do this without a backing ground for it but make sure one unknowingly subscribe to a paid promo.

This isn't done by Airtel Nigeria alone, other network providers - MTN,Glo and 9mobile - are all culprits to this act.

This smart robbing of Nigerians could be corrected easily as the way it was deducted. If you know of the promo that was subscribed for you, you just have to search for the particular way to cancel it out.

You can as well deactivate all value added services of Airtel by dialing *902# with your airtel line to choose from two options that will either allow you activate or deactivate VASĀ· Select 1 to activate (Start) a VAS plan or 2 to see and deactivate (stop) any existing one.

You will receive a confirmation SMS of your deactivation but if you haven't got any, just continue dialing the code to get the messages.
