2019 Current list of Nigerian Ambassadors and countries deployed
Posted on: October 24, 2018, 02:23:44 PM
An ambassador is a government-recognised diplomat representing a country. This highly ranked personnel serves as the resident representative of the country’s government when diplomacy is needed.

One might be confused on the particular list of ambassabors we have in Nigeria due to the politics behind their appointments. When a new administration emerges, significant changes are made as well in international relations.

They are employed and deployed as if the post is a contract. In June 2012, President Goodluck Jonathan deployed 93 diplomats to over 64 countries. 86 of these ambassadors were posted out of the country while 7 remained in Nigeria as ambassadors-in- situ.
