The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka is a Federal university in Nigeria. It was formerly the Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH) but changes were made to it's name and was eventually acquired by the federal government.
Its main campus is located in Anambra State's capital, Awka, and a second campus is at Nnewi. The university gets it's name from the first president of Nigeria, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.
A 2005 data has it that the University had a population of 24,706 for the full-time and 12,476 students for the part-time programmes.
The population should be more than that by now and this signals more competition by aspirants. Despite this competition for places in the reputed institution, there are courses which hardly experience competition.
Listed below are the less competitive courses/departments there in the institution(in terms of admission).
