The reality of furthering your career in a higher institution has dawn on you after finishing your secondary school. This is the point which your decisions becomes significant bearing long term outcome.



Lots of thoughts begins to weather in. You need to know the WAEC grading system if you had registered for the exam body. Going a step further, you need to write JAMB. And consequently, you need to know the JAMB grading system.








There are tons of courses one can apply for. There is the list of educational courses hot in the university - You will easily be admitted if you apply for these courses.


Being that new, you need to possess the documents needed by your school. Get it right to the very detail. There's a general faculty screening and the departmental one. Be sure to be on time with the appropriate files and forms. Never give up your originals!



In the university, there are opinions people do make that is unhealthy to their success there. These are things you shouldn't push over the counter like that.



People do come to regret because they started late. They opined that they will unlikely make a good grade. You can and will with the right knowledge and motivation. Checkout how to read effectively at night.




Try to aim a first class grade. It's simple as far as you follow the guildlines on how to graduate with a 1st class grade. Good grades make you that first class, make that good grade in universities at ease.




You might have been lucky that in your 0-level you may have failed a course and still move on with your studies. The university is different, once you fail a course you have resit it. It is called a carryover course and not something you would really fancy. Learn on how to avoid carryovers in universities.




Let's not forget there are times you need money seriously, you can learn how to make money online and offline as a student. Scholarships aren't meant for the poor, they are meant to ease financial burden, you can try your luck in that direction.



There  is always cases of missing scripts and papers, learn how to report them on time. Check your semester results in your department and learn how to calculate your CGPA yourself!

I was wandering if there is a possibility to get a scholarship from abroad for studying in Nigeria. I have recently heard that there are some international organisations that are willing to support poor students with scholarships. Does somebody know something about that?

Its very hard to get such and one more thing is that you need to be very intelligent to attract their attention.
