I was really surprised by the list. I was looking for Sadio Mane in the list and he was nowhere to be found. He is an integral part of the Liverpool that has the best chance to win the Premier League for the first time. Who do you think should be on top of the list? Maybe Mohammad Salah?

Just saw that Sadio Mane's pay is about £190k... :D
i will review them, thanks!

Football is widely followed all over the world. It also doubles as the most viewed sport in the world. Aside being the most viewed sport, it is the best marketed sport judging by the revenue it brings.

In Nigeria, football - introduced by the early britons, receives wide acceptance from all nooks and cranies.

The english premier league - the major league in England, is adjudged best(probably in terms of competition and coverage). Huge amount of currency is being derived from TV deals alone in the league. Popular teams include Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham....

Football becomes edgy and lively with rivalry. Popular rivalry in the league include Liverpool vs Everton, Liverpool vs Manchester United, Chelsea vs Manchester United, Chelsea vs Manchester City, Arsenal vs Tottenham..... to name but a few.

The fore rival to the 'best league in the world' spot is the spanish laliga. This is where the legends live as popular stars like Lionel Messi, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos ..... stay put to make the league lively.

The biggest rivalry in the spanish laliga and perhaps in the world of football is termed the 'El classico'. It is between the richest club in the world, Real madrid FC and the second on that rich list Barcelona FC. To garner more income and increase coverage, the 'el classico' is always play(of recent) on a neutral ground in a large stadium outside spain.

Other major leagues that are of interest are: the serie A, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1.... etc. These leagues are home to stars who entertain fans through great footballing. Many of these stars are Africans who ply their trade outside their indeginous countries. Their football are admired by the world who watch their every moves on pitch and criticize their flaws.

Admired also is their pay which comes unfailingly every week! Analysis don't leave out pays received by players of football. In fact this has been the major discussion point for fans. That has led to questions ranging from Who is the highest paid player in Africa?, Which African player is paid highest in european league? to How much are top African players paid per week?, what is the weekly pay of African stars?

Football clubs in China are ready to woo player who intend to value fat pays more than popularity. They earn more as salary and lose out on endorsement deals as their influence diminishes.

No! problem to their net income as the huge pays covers up for their financial loses.

On the other hand, the stars that are in the european top leagues. Their dimimutive weekly pay is covered up by endorsement deals which comes due to popularity. There are most of them on the list as well as those of the 'minor' leagues around the world!
