The online payment processor Payoneer recently made a positive change to their platform by allowing Payoneer users to pay and send money to anyone who doesn't use Payoneer. Initially, Payoneer doesn't allow its users to send money to anyone who doesn't use their platform.

This really good news to all Payoneer users including me because I felt so happy when I received a notification about the new changes, however, I was so angry with Payoneer following the ugly experience I had with them as a Nigerian user. I wrote a post titled Why you should Avoid Payoneer as your payment option where I narrated my anger and terrible experience while using their platform.

Today my mindset has changed towards them because they have done the right thing and the right thing is not just allowing their users to send money to anyone but have also reduced the excessive charges they put in place that made me hate them. I was charged $15 just to withdraw $77 to my dollar account which is way too high, I have used Skrill and PayPal but none of them charged me such amount of money.

Need to pay someone who doesn’t use Payoneer?

Initially, the only who to send money to none Payoneer users is to invite them to join the platform and immediately they except and join the platform then Payoneer will notify you to proceed with the payment for free. The good news is that payment from one Payoneer user to another is free.

The old method of sending money to none Payoneer users has changed, you don't have to force anyone to join the platform to be able to receive money from you, It only requires 2 simple steps to send money to anyone.

Step #1

Visit Payoneer.com and login to your user panel with your details, now click Pay and select Make a Payment from the dropdown menu. Then, choose to either pay a supplier using Payoneer or to a supplier not using Payoneer.

If your supplier is not a Payoneer customer and you’re paying them for the first time through Payoneer, you’ll need to add their bank details. This means that you will need bank account details of the person you wish to send money to in other to complete the process.

Step #2

Since Payoneer supports different types of currencies you will have to choose the currency account you want to use and enter the payment amount and click Pay.
