The No: 1 mobile Telecommunication giant popularly known as MTN recently sent an apology SMS regarding the slow data connection experienced on the Network a few days ago. However, I don't know whether the slow data speed was experienced nationwide or partly in some states.

The poor data connection speed made some MTN subscribers think that their phones had some kind of problem that made it not to browse as fast as it used to while some believe they don't have active data subscriptions. In my case, I had to restart my phone over and over believing that the problem will be solved.

Imagine when you have a full network bar with a 4G sign and yet you struggle to browse or download, it usually took more than 10-30 seconds for a page to load which is too bad for a 4G network from MTN but they did well to officially intimate their subscribers on the situation.

Here is the message sent to my phone by MTN

Y'ello. We apologize for slow data speeds and difficulty accessing the internet. Please bear with us as we work to resolve the issue. Thank you

The good news is that network issue has been resolved, at least I can now browse with full 4G speed compared to the last few days but if you are still experiencing unusual poor data connection then you must be patient sin they promised to resolve the issue.

Which network offers the best data connectivity speed in Nigeria?

Will you be kind enough to tell us the network you are more comfortable with in terms of data speed, for me Majority always goes for the cheapest data plans and not the fastest but those who understand the importance of speed still goes for it irrespective of the price.

So tell me where do you belong, would you go for best data speed or just the cheapest data offers from either MTN, GLO, AIRTEL or 9MOBILE, etc.
