Infinix Mobility is on top of their game once again as they introduce a new twin flagship, Infinix Note 7, and its lite version both with outstanding features and functionalities. I don't know what others are saying about the Infinix note 7 but from what I can see, they did an excellent job in terms of design and as well as the features.

There is no need to write different reviews for the two models instead we will review them together and compare their features. It will help you to make the right choice by knowing the differences and similarities between the Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 7 Lite. Both phones were announced on the 6th of April 2020 and expected to be available by May 2020.

Price of Infinix Note 7 in Nigeria

Due to fluctuation in the exchange rate, the final price of this phone is subject to the price determined by sellers but since we have different variations in terms of memory size, the price will equally not be the same.

Infinix Note 7 with 4GB + 64GB goes for ₦78,000 while the one with 6GB + 128GB goes for ₦89,500. There are also two versions of Note 7 Lite with 4GB + 64GB selling at the rate of ₦67,500, however, I couldn't confirm the price of the one with bigger storage memory 4GB + 128GB but it should be around ₦74,000 or lesser.

What's New in Infinix Note 7

Before looking at the general features and functionalities of Infinix Note 7, I will like to enlighten you guys on the new features being added on the Infinix Note.

1. Side Mounted Fingerprint sensor

There are 4 positions and types of fingerprint sensors mostly seen in smartphones such as the Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Home menu button fingerprint sensor, In-display fingerprint sensor, and Side Mounted fingerprint sensor. However, Infinix opted for the side-mounted fingerprint sensor for their Note 7 which is one of the latest security features seen in most of the 2020 high-end smartphones. Say Goodbye to the old rear-mounted fingerprint sensor seen in most of the Infinix smartphones.

2. Android 10 and other upgraded Software

Infinix Noe 7 is powered with the latest Android 10 operating system accompanied by Infinix XOS 6.0 which enables you to explore and enjoy latest Google innovation, It has Octa-core processor supported with Mediatek Helio G70 chipset optimized for best performance and stability, however, the chipset is also regarded as the high game engine by Infinix which ensure best gaming experience at all time.

Big Battery Capacity

Thanks to the onboard 5000 mAh battery capacity which works best with the Infinix Note 7 with the modern battery-saving technologies that ensure continuous entertainment and fun. Having 18W Supercharge 3.0 fast charging features is another reason to love this phone as it helps you charge less and use more, a few minutes of charging can keep you connected for hours or days.

Big Memory

Note 7 lacks nothing when it comes to random access memory (RAM) and storage memory, the phone has between 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM which is a huge plus for the phone. Having enough processing RAM means good performance and will always be ready for multi-tasking. You are surely good to go with 64GB or even the bigger 128GB internal storage memory that can comfortably contain all your games, apps, and media files.

Advanced and Sophisticated Camera

Infinix Note 7 offers an advanced Quad AI cameras and quad flash featuring 48MP ultra-high definition that Shoot masterpieces that stand out from the crowd, the 40mm macro lens helps record even the most minute of details. With the new Infinix Note 7, you will see the best of the Infinix Note series.

Infinix NOTE 7 and NOTE 7 Lite Review

Without further hesitation, we are going to check out the difference between Note 7 and Note 7 Lite especially, the design, display size, Operating system, Memory size, and battery, etc.

Design & Display

Infinix Note 7 and 7 Lite looks gorgeous and irresistible when it comes to design as the both of them features Infinity-O display but slightly different in size. Infinix Note 7 which is seen as the full version of the flagships offers a bigger 6.95 inch 720x1640 pixels resolution, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display while the Lite version followed with 6.6 inches 720x1600 pixels 20.9 ratio resolution. In this regard, Note 7 is a bit bigger than the Lite version.

However, there is no room for notch display in the front screen as everything is covered with glass hiding the front selfie camera under the screen at the top left-hand side in both phones.

Note 7 and Note 7 Lite have different designs at the back, the Note 7 has its quad rear camera aligned squarely inside a rounded box which makes it more beautiful and attractive. The Note 7 Lite has a different design at the back with the same quad camera and quad flash aligned vertically at the top left side of the phone.

Software(OS & CPU)

There is no noticeable difference between Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite, they both came with XOS 6.0 build on Android 10 operating system accompanied by Octa-core process and Mediatek Helio G70 Chipset. Both of the Note Infinix smartphones are optimized for best performance and stability.

Memory Size

Infinix Note 7 is the better option if you can afford the 6GB + 128GB RAM/ROM model compared to 4GB RAM + 64GB that Note 7 Lite offers. However, this shouldn't be a problem when deciding between the two models, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM are still good if you can't afford the 6GB + 128GB version.

Camera

Honestly, the only major difference in Note 7 and Note 7 Lite is the screen, a bit different in design, and memory size but every other thing looks the same or slightly different. Looking at both cameras both models offer Quad rear cameras with a brighter LED quad flashlight. Note 7 has a 16-megapixel front selfie camera while Note 7 Lite offers 8 Megapixel front camera.

Note 7 is surely the winner here but no big deal, they are but good, below are the Quad camera features as seen on infinix Note 7.

Battery Capacity

There is no winner when it comes to the battery, they are both powered with a strong 5000 mAh battery capacity that has all it takes to keep you connected for a few days moreover, it all goes down to your handling ability. Coming to fast charging features, Note 7 is the winner with the 18W fast charging feature. On the other hand, Note 7 Lite still offers up to 10W fast charging which guarantees lesser charge and more power for uninterrupted fun and entertainment.

Both models support 4G LTE network, Dual Sim option with microSDXC (dedicated slot) to increase the storage memory. To ensure you find everything and anything you need to know about Infinix Note 7, I am going to share this unboxing video of the Infinix Note 7 to learn more.
