Whats new (Infinix Hot 10S and Infinix Hot 10T)

I have seen some improvements with the release of Infinix Hot 10S and Hot 10T as compared to the previous release such as Infinix Hot 10, Hot 9 Play ad hot 8. etc. Most of the improvements as follows:

Upgraded Operating system and Processor

In as much as we have a lot of similarities between the new release of the Infinix Hot series and the old ones, the new Hot 10S and Hot 10T has the most recent Android 11 operating system together with an enhanced MediaTek Helio G85 and G70 gaming processor which was never in the previous release. If you like playing games with your phone, then consider one of these smartphones because they are better than any other Infinix Hot series phones.

Advanced and powerful camera

I bought Infinix Hot 8 back in 2019 and it only offers around 13MP triple rear camera and the hot series that followed was not better when it comes to the camera but Infinix has done something spectacular with the release of Infinix Hot 10S and Infinix Hot 10T as they both come with 48MP Triple Camera with other advance features that ensure best quality images and videos.

Bigger Memory

If you can remember, Infinix did something terribly wrong by releasing infinix Hot 8 and Hot 9 Play with 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM but that particular issue has been solved with the release of Infinix Hot 10S and Infinix Hot 10T as they even offer much more memory as needed.

Infinix Hot 10S offers 6GB Random Access Memory (RAM) + 128GB Read-Only Memory (ROM) while Infinix Hot 10T offers 4GB RAM + 128GB. The clearly shows that they are both better when it comes to memory which other HOT series lacks.

The new operating system, processor, bigger memory and the good quality camera are what's new on the new smartphones that you hardly see on other Hot series. However, there are other notable improvements in the display quality, and over performance.

I know that you are interested to know which one of these phones is better and what makes it better than the other, let's find out below, though they have a lot in common one of them is surely better than the other.

Display & Design

When it comes to displaying size they both offer the same 6.82” HD+ Ultra 90Hz Smooth display with exact 171.5 x 77.5 x 9.2mm screen dimensions and 720 x 1640 screen resolutions. There is no clear winner in terms of screen size and display quality, they both offer the same visual experience.

Looking at the design, I still don't see anything that differentiates them from each other. at the front, we have a waterdrop natch display that creates room for the front selfie camera while at the back we have a triple rear camera aligned at the top left-hand side along with the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. So nothing differentiates Infinix Hot 10S and Infinix Hot 10T in terms of design as well. They both come in 4 different colours to choose from (Purple, Black, Heart of Ocean and Morandi Green)

Operating System & Processor

Infinix Hot 10S and Hot 10T is equipped with the latest Android 11 operating system that let you explore the world of possibilities with unlimited access to the google play store for apps and the same downloads. However, Infinix Hot 10S seems to be better with its MediaTek Helio G85 Excellent Gaming chipset as compared to MediaTek Helio G70 that Infinix Hot 10T comes with. They both came with a 2.0GHz Octa-core processor, Infinix Hot 10S will be a better choice for gamers because of the G85 gaming chipset which is better than the G70 that Hot 10T offers.

Memory Size

Infinix Hot 10S is still the king here with 6GB RAM  and 128GB internal storage memory. However, Infinix might as well release a 4GB RAM version of the Hot 10S but what I saw from their official website is 6GB RAM + 64/128GB ROM. Then looking at the infinix Hot 10T we have 4GB RAM + 64/128GB internal storage memory which is really huge and enough to house all your apps, games, music and videos.

However, if you think you need more storage memory then you have nothing to be worried about, Infinix hot 10S and Hot 10T allows you to extend your storage memory up to 512GB using a TFT memory card. at least you have seen that they are far better than what we have seen on their Hot 8 and Hot 9 Play.

Camera Quality

There are no clear winners when it comes to quality as both Infinix hot 10S and Infinix Hot 10T offers 48MP triple rear cameras along with a single 8MP front selfie camera. However, there are other new advanced and beautification modes integrated on the new smartphones such as:

Infinix Hot Series are best known for strong long-lasting batteries, I enjoyed my Infinix Hot 8 with a 5000 mAh battery but Infinix Hot 10S even offers something more. The new Hot 10S is powered with a 6000 mAh battery capacity while Hot 10T offers 5000 mAh battery capacity. If you care more about battery then consider Hot 10S as the best choice with 6000 mAh but it will surely cost more to buy than Hot 10T.

My Verdict

Infinix Ht 10S and Infinix Hot 10T are great phones that have all the basic features needed in a smartphone, going for any of the phones is a good choice as long as they meet your standards. However, the only thing I don't like about the phones is the missing Type-C USB charging port which is obviously better than the 5 pin USB port that is now outdated.
