Well one of the largest Telecom companies in Nigeria and Africa, MTN plc has introduced alot of awfuf offers for customers.

Could it be why it's one of the leading Telecom companies?  Well let us leave this gist for another day.

And now let us talk about the main gist of the day!

Do you know some MTN user is somewhere using MTN pulse points to get data?

Now if you did not know this thank goodness you opened this blog post to read.

You would have missed out on something, the MTN pulse points you may have on your MTN line waiting for you to enjoy it but now you won't.

Now anytime you top up your line or recharge your phone MTN may be  sending you MTN pulse points.

I found this out some weeks ago and thought just today that I was going to share this with you.

Let's go in to more details!

What is a MTN pulse point?

OK the MTN pulse point is like a token you get when you recharge your MTN line. And this token can be redeemed (you may be able to use your points to get something)

So MTN gives to you a reward token after buying airtime.

What is an MTN Pulse Point used for?

MTN pulse points when redeemed can be used to get data for you.

For example; It's a true story example of when I used 25 MTN pulse points to get a 250MB Nightlife bundle.

And later I used 50 MTN pulse points to get 500MB Nightlife bundle.

These bundles were valid from 11pm to 6am.

What are the data plans for MTN Pulse Point?

There are a variety of data plans you can choose from. But data plans for the daytime need more pulse points than Nightlife data plans.

Do I have MTN pulse points? and How can I check my Pulse point balance?

In other to do this, you'll need to dial *406# and select Pulse points.

After this, you can either input the command, 1 to check your pulse point balance or 2 to redeem or use pulses points.

Summary

- Dial *406#

-You will be prompted to input a command, example: "1" or "2"or"3".

- Select the number for pulse points.

-After that, you will have to input a command of your choice.

-You can input "1" or "2" to check your point  balance or to  redeem pulse points.

Conclusion

Now you know how to get data with your MTN line by simply dialing *406# and selecting Pulse points to manage your pulse point balance and use your points.
