Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, Cech's manager at Chelsea
for two years until 2011, wants to capitalise on his
old club's goalkeeping dilemma to take Cech to Spain
on the cheap.
Real have made preliminary enquiries about Cech
but will face competition from both Paris Saint
Germain and Monaco.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear he
wants Cech and Thibaut Courtois, brought back from
his loan period at Atletico Madrid this summer, to
compete for the goalkeeper's position this season.
But Cech, who has been at the club for 10 years, kept
a record 220 clean sheets and won three league titles
as well as the Champions League in a glittering stint
at Stamford Bridge, is unwilling to make way for the
22 year old Belgian and sit on the bench.
