How to use Your Android Phone to connect your computer:
We have come to them main story, to use your android phone as a hotspot and connect your computer to WIFI simply follow the below steps to connect your computer to the internet using your an android phone.

Let us use Samsung android device as a reference.

1. Press your MENU button
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Then go to WIRELESS and NETWORKS
4. move down to TETHERING and PORTABLE HOTSPOT

You will see options like:

=> USB TETHERING
=> MOBILE AP
=> MOBILE AP SETTINGS

The first one (USB TETHERING) is to be used when you connecting your phone to your computer using a USB cable wire while MOBILE AP is to be selected when  you want to share your Android Mobile phone connection with your computer wirelessly with the help of WIFI.

In case you don't understand WIFI:
It refers to a facility allowing computers, smartphones, or other devices to connect to the Internet or communicate with one another wirelessly within a particular area.


When you click option 3 (MOBILE AP SETTINGS)

You will still see another options such as:

=> MOBILE APP: Mobile APP AndroidAP (Active or Inactive) this is why you need to activate it or deactivate your hotspot.

CONFIGURE MOBILE AP: To configure your Android hotspot then go to MOBILE AP SETTINGS and set the followings:

=> Connection Name
=> Select your security (Open or Secure)

Once you are done then power on your computer and you computer will automatically detect the connection, once detect click on the available network notice and select connect
