I always like to encourage and share my experience with Nigerian Bloggers/Webmasters and am here to tell you that you don't spam to succeed you work to succeed and that's exactly what i did to be where i am now though i know that am nobody yet but am working harder to become somebody that is why i don't believe in spamming.

I understand that you are only trying to help yourself but try to do it the right way and fight for something of more value, i will tell you few things you shouldn't do to succeed online.

1. Stop Link Spamming:
I never spent time looking for where to get back-link or to illegally exchange traffic from peoples website though the truth is that i tried it and it didn't work for me.

i can remember back in the days when 9jaclub owned by Don-caprio is still existing between 2012-2013, i tried spamming around 12AM and when wake up my profile was deleted entire and since then i know that spamming is not the best option.

2. Stop publishing your articles to exchange traffic:
Well for me i never tried this method so i don't know what you benefit from publishing your article on peoples website forgetting that Uniqueness matters a lot in seo

Note: Am not talking about guest posting what am talking about is those who writing article and duplicate it in peoples website to get traffic.

Example:
If you are one of those who always duplicate their articles on Nairaland believing to draw traffic from Nairaland, well that's cool but i will tell you what you don't know.

Whenever you write something and publish it to your site and then still publish on Nairaland, you are just killing yourself because despite that you wrote the article yourself Nairaland will still rank higher than you when someone searches anything related to what your wrote about because they have gained more trust than your site.

3. Stop spending more time fighting to get traffic:
You don't need to spend all your time looking for traffic because traffic will come when you have what they need or what they are looking for, why not concentrate in writing something unique and helpful that will bring traffic to your site instead of fighting to get traffic

Just take Nairaland as example you visit them because you need something that they have or do you think that they spammed all the website in the world to be where they are now, no seun worked harder to give nairaland a meaning, you need to work to give yours a meaning too.

Finally i don't spam for any reason but i spent my time writing something good and unique that can be an answer to someone's question or solution to someone's problem and that's best way to go because trust needs to be earned not a birth right and once google sees something good in your site they will be sending you traffic that you can never get anywhere without spending thousands and millions not even on facebook as many people believed, though they can help but not without spending some cash to reach your fans

Hope you have learned one or two things and if you need any question or contribution feel free to join the conversation by registering and sharing your comments with us.
