Roy Keane on Arsenal : "They're soft, they're weak. No
characters, no leaders, no winners. You'd fancy yourself
against that group of players.''

"Playing against Arsenal was always one of the highlights
of the season, especially given the rivalry we had in my
day. United are coming off a good Champions League
result, Arsenal not so much, so there will be pressure,
probably a little bit more on Arsenal for this weekend, but
Arsene Wenger is a great manager and has a good team.
There are always difficult moments in football, but United
are having a good time at the moment and I hope that
continues. I think it’s exciting at the moment because
there are a lot of young players who have come into the
team, You’ve got Wayne [Rooney] leading the line and
everything seems to be coming together at the moment. I
think it’s important we have that togetherness that
obviously we had back in my day and that all Manchester
United teams have had - we seem to have that which is
great. Let’s hope the young players that the manager has
brought in continue to play the way they’re playing."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he never made a
move for Anthony Martial this summer because Monaco
told him the forward was not sale.
Arsene said : "I was surprised they sold him, the amount
of money was massive. I believe that you could think that,
if you are Monaco, you could have sold him as well next
season. So I thought they would not sell him this year
because they sold many other players. I thought they
would maintain their word. He was not sellable. He was
not on the list. He was one of the players Monaco did not
want to sell, so we never made an approach for him.Only
an acceptable amount of money after could do it. We
always liked him, even when he was in Lyon."

Manchester United are keeping tabs on the Germany-born
Turkey midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, a 21-year-old
playmaker renowned for his dead ball strikes. Calhanoglu
made quite the name for himself by scoring a free-kick
against Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman
Weidenfeller from 41 meters out last year, one of 12 free-
kicks from which he has scored since beginning his career
in the Bundesliga. - [The Guardian]
