last-16 of Europe's premier club
Manchester City have announced their squad
for the Champions League knockout stages,
with Kelechi Iheanacho included ahead of the
injured Samir Nasri.
Iheanacho, who has scored eight goals in 18
appearances in an impressive breakthrough
campaign for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, has
been rewarded with a place in the squad.
Nasri, meanwhile, has not featured since the
5-1 win over Bournemouth In October after
picking up a serious hamstring injury.
The France international has subsequently
undergone surgery on the problem and is
hoping to return to first-team action in March.
