Rising up from Enugu West Youth Assembly meeting, Hon. Oliver Okah, Special Assistant to the Deputy Senate President, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu, weekend, in a press release, described his boss as a man imbued with wisdom and understanding of leadership is about.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Okah said the meeting was called to help the youths grasp the real intention of Ike Ekweremadu’s empowerment projects in this period of economic meltdown in the country and thus ensure that the youths are prevented from engaging in activities that will not in any way give them any meaningful life.
Okah said that from all indications, “Ike Oha Foundation had given scholarships to thousands of students from Enugu West, and also could boast of health related projects that had been benefiting all, and skill acquisition programme that had made thousands of people employers of labour today. All these as a result of the enabling environment provided by the senator.
“Today, Ekweremadu has succeeded in empowering so many youths,” Okah said. The meeting, which was attended by a large crowd, resolved that in the next election, the people of the area would en masse elect their candidates.
