AIRTEL GHANA MANUAL ConfigURATION Settings
Airtel made it simple, if you want to get the configuration settings directly from Airtel kindly follow this steps.

Send ‘internet’ or ‘wap’ to 232.

Install or save received settings and use as default.
Insert the AirtelSim into an Airtel modem, connect and browse on it for some few minutes.
Call customer care ‘121’ and request for sim provisioning.

 Phones with Android Operating Systems

    Go to settings >More settings>Wireless and Mobile networks >Access Point Names>Set new APN.
    Enter ‘Airtel’at name.
    Enter ‘internet’   at where you see ‘APN’
    Save your new APN by checking the newly created.


NB: when setup is successful there will be an ‘H’ ‘3G’ or the bars of your network.

  For Android Phones
   
    Go to Application
    Then Settings
    Select Wireless and Network/ Mobile Network
    Go down in an Access Point Name (APN)
    Press menu key and select New APN
    Fill in the following information
    Under name, enter Vodafone_gh
    Under APN, enter either browse/internet
    Ignore the others and go to Authentication Type and select NONE
    Under APN Type enter internet + mms
    Press the Menu Key again and SAVE
    Please tap on the circle beside the new APN created to activate

       
   For IOS
   
    Go to Settings
    Select General
    Go to Network
    Select Mobile Data Network
    Enter APN as browse / internet

   For Blackberry

Kindly dial *500# to subscribe for the blackberry packages.
Kindly send empty text to 700 for the automatic internet settings.
