GLO Fast APN (Acesspoint) Settings for all Phones and Modem
Posted on: February 22, 2017, 02:35:45 PM
I was struggling to browse with my GLO line for long that is why i always prefer MTN even though that GLO is cheap than MTN but then i decided to find out why my Glo line is always slow when browsing until i decided to play around with my glo APN setting to see if there are other settings that can help me browse faster, i knew that glo has mean Access Point so i decided to change mine to see if i can see any improvement.

First i wanted to subscribe to MTN since glo no long give my what i want but the good news is that i found a way to browse more faster more than MTN simply by changing my current APN settings.

I was using GLO Flat access point which i set as follows.

Name: Gloflat
Username: flat
Password: flat
Apn: flat
For modem number: *99#

Then since am using a usb modem i set my priority to UMTS to make sure that my modem connects to high speed UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service) i a third-generation (3G) broadband.

My experice with the glo flat apn setting was poor and i decided to checkout another GLO APN that i can still remember which is glo direct APN Settings.

If you think that you are not browsing fast as you wish on GLO Network then lets try something new by creating another APN using the below.

If you are using Modem connect your modem and go to settings to create new Access Point (APN) with the following.

Name: Glodirect
Number: *99#
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Apn: glodirect

If you are using phone and you want to change your APN settings as well simply go to your phone network settings to add new access point or edit the one you have with the above settings.

Hope you are now browsing faster with your glo line but if you are still having problem kindly comments below so that we can help you aout
