The new itel S23+ is the first of its kind when it comes to features and quality. This is the first ever itel smartphone to offer a curved AMOLED Screen display along with a large memory. It's a walk in the right direction by itel, their recent improvement is noticeable and I commend them for that.

So the latest now is itel S23+ which was released a couple of days ago and I must say that the Plus is a big one indeed because both the features and the design of the phone are amazing. If you want to know the difference between the itel S23 and itel S23+ then keep reading, I am going to explain that later but for the main time let's talk about itel S23+.
1. 6.78 inches curved AMOLED Screen + Corning Gorilla Glass 5: As I said earlier, this is the first time I have seen an itel phone with AMOLED screen display not talk about the curved screen with a protective Corning Gorilla Glass 5 just like you see in the most Samsng galaxy phones.
2. In-display Fingerprint Sensor: I am not also sure if there is any other itel phone that comes with an In-display Fingerprint Sensor apart from this phone, for those who don't understand what I mean by "In-display Fingerprint Sensor" it means that itel S23+ doesn't have any fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone or by the side of the phone like most smartphones. The fingerprint sensor is hidden in the screen of the phone and to unlock your phone you will need to press your finger directly to the phone screen to unlock it.

3. Big Memory: The new itel S23+ comes with big random access memory that helps the phone handle its tasks effortlessly and also offers enough storage memory that will make you forget about external memory cards. Specifically, the phone has 8GB RAM + 256GB built-in storage memory, thanks to the memory fusion technology implemented on the phone to extend the RAM memory to 16GB (8GB + 8GB).
4. Good Camera quality and design: I can say that itel S23+ is all-around good, with 50MP dual rear camera together with 32MP front selfie AI camera you will surely get the best out of your phone. Looking at the position of the cameras you can relate with Tecno Spark 10 Pro because they just look the same.
Itel S23+ is currently available in most Nigerian mobile shops and plazas, however, from the price I saw on Jumia Nigeria the phone is currently selling between N140,000 - N155,000 (8GB + 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM) model, you can see that the phone is cheaper compared to what it offers.

This review will not be complete if I fail to explain the similarities and what differentiates the new itel S23+ from its predecessor (itel S23) that was first released some time ago.
itel S23+ offers a bigger 6.78-inch screen display compared to the 6.6-inch that the normal S23 offers, apart from that, the Plus model comes with a premium AMOLED curved screen that has a dot notch for the selfie camera while the s23 has an IPS HD+ display with water-drop notch screen design. itel s23+ comes in two colors (Lake Cyan and elemental Blue) while itel s23 comes in three colors (Mystery White, Starry Black, and Sky Blue)
At the back, the camera positioning is different but the configuration is closely the same as both offer a 50MP rear camera but the S23+ is superior when it comes to the selfie camera, it has 32MP compared to the 8MP that a normal s23 offers. The battery is the same 5000 mAh but with different fast charging capabilities. S23+ has 18W fast charging while S23 has 10W fast charging, they both have type-C USB charging ports.
The memory is the same and from the information available on itel website, both phones come with different variants when it comes to memory, either you go for (4GB + 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM) or this (8GB + 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM). Most of the features are the same but the S23+ is far better. However, itel S23+ is selling between N140,000 - N155,000 while Itel S23 is going between N63,000 - N75,000. all available on Jumia.
Itel S23+ is the premium model of itel S23 and if you care to know where itel S23 is lacking then I can boldly say that it doesn't have a curved AMOLED screen and doesn't have In-display Fingerprint Sensor but rather a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The design of the S23+ is also top-notch compared to normal S23. when it comes to OS, the S23+ is equipped with Android 13, itel OS 13 while the S23 is built on Android 12 OS. If the money is not an issue then grab the latest itel S23+ and feel the flagship.
