Am sure you know that Facebook sends you a notification messages when someone sent you a friend request or accepted you as a friend on Facebook, you can as well receive messages on your mobile phone when someone comment on an image you are tagged in or when someone post or comment on your timeline.

To let you know what is happening on your Facebook page is good but can be annoyed sometime when you keep receiving numerous messages from Facebook even when you are expecting more important message.

The good news is that facebook is kind enough to provide an option where you will have to keep receiving the Notifications or to turn it off and that is what am about to show you how to stop Facebook from sending you notification messages which might seem disturbing to some people and if you are among those who will like to disable Facebook Mobile Message notification then your problem has already been solved, all you need to do is to follow this little step to step guide on how to disable Facebook Mobile message Notifications.

How to stop Facebook from sending you notification messages:

1. To stop receiving Facebook Notifications on your mobile phone simply look at the top right corner on your Facebook page and click on the small triangle arrow as you can see on the image below.


2. You will see popup where you will have to navigate to click on SETTINGS and you will now be taken to another page where you will see NOTIFICATIONS


3. Click on the notifications and you will be take to Notification settings as you can see on the image below.


As you can see above, all you need to do now is to click on the edit to see the finally page where you will now select OFF or ON as you can see below.


Once you select OFF you will no longer be receiving notification messages in your mobile phone again but i you think you like it then there is no need to disable it.
